iSO images is the commercial and documentary photographic practice of Alan Lee. I am a Canberra based professional photographer who works on documentary projects as well as on commissions to photograph people, places and events. Please have a look at my awarded photographs section. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 I had images chosen as a semi finalist in the Moran Contemporary Photography Prize and the Head On Photography Festivals.  I was honoured to have images short listed in these prestigious National competitions.

A large scale self-commissioned project was the documentation of the Murrumbidgee River and its surroundings. A drop of water takes twenty six days to travel from the headwaters in the Snowy Mountains to the end where it joins the Murray River. Together with with Jonquil Mackey we took twenty six (non consecutive) days of photographs in an attempt to capture some of the essence of this river. This project culminated in exhibitions in Canberra and Wagga Wagga as well as a photobook.
